Become Healthier and Slimmer with This 3-Day Sugar Detox

Most of the weight we gain is as a result of eating fats, carbs, and sugars. Sugar consumption in moderate ways is not risky, however, if you consume a lot of sodas, cereals, juices, salad dressings, and candies, well, that might be a problem.

Bananas, organic juices, honey, and mangos contain healthy sugars. In case your body faces sugar overdose, it will manifest certain symptoms such as depression, fatigue, yeasts, hyperactivity, headaches, drowsiness, sinus issues, colds, mental dizziness, diabetes, and even cancer.

Is weight gain linked to sugar?

The 3-day detox plan

Day 1

Eat some berries, cup of seeds, almonds, or 3 boiled/scrambled eggs for breakfast. For a snack, eat a bowl of nuts. eat chicken breast, beets, cooked squash, carrots, parsnip, turnips, and beans for lunch. For dinner, eat broiled fish, salmon, and green beans.

Day 2

Begin with steel cut oats, berries, seeds, almonds, and 3 eggs. Have a small bowl nuts for a snack. For lunch, eat grill zucchini, yellow and red pepper, lemon, thyme and vinegar as dressing over a salad containing green or red cabbage, salt, carrots, olive oil, parsley, and lemon. For dinner, eat soup consisting of beans, green veggies, and veggie casserole.

Day 3

You can either begin the same as before or eat omelet consisting of 3 eggs, sautéed kale, shrimps, walnuts, and radish salad. Eat nuts for snacks and for lunch, eat roast chicken with rosemary, sage, and lemon or roast chicken with olives, onion, and thyme. Have mushrooms with onion, garlic, celery, thyme, broth, carrots, and bay leaves for dinner or pene pasta consisting of brown rice with basil, tomato, and mushrooms.

Sugar detox beverages

Instead of sodas, drink detox drinks in order to boost metabolism.

Detox water: chop berries, strawberries, grapefruit, oranges, mint, and rosemary, and add them in a jar of water. Then, refrigerate it.

Tea: drink green tea a couple of times on a daily basis without sugar

Coffee – only 1 cup of black coffee per day without sugar
