3 Tricks That Will Help Remove Pesticides From Fruits and Veggies

Cold water rinse

Rinse the vegetables and fruit with cold water and a scrub. According to studies, cold water removes 80% of the pesticides. The green and leafy veggies and fruits require more rinses.

Salt and water soak

This mixture is not suitable for fragile fruits, although it removes pesticides in the crevices. Just put 2 teaspoons of salt in 4 cups of water and stir. Then, soak the veggie or fruit for at least 30 minutes and then rinse with some cold water.

Soak in vinegar

Remove outer layer

Peel the skins, cut sections and tops off in order to lower the rate of pesticides and bacteria.

No soap

According to some people, soap is good. But, this is completely wrong. You should not use chemicals for food cleansing.
