  3. For rheumatism – Put 1 tbsp. of ginger in 2 cups of boiling water and brew for 4 hours in a sealed container. Consume 2 tbsp. 4 times on a daily basis, half an hour before the meals.
  4. For insomnia – Put 1/8 cup of celery root in 4 cups of pre-boiled water and brew for 8 hours. Then, drain the mxiture and take 1 tsp. of it, thrice a day.
  5. For allergies – Squeeze the juice from a celery root and drink 1 tsp. of it, 3 times on a daily basis, half an hour before your meals.
  6. Regulates alkaline balance – To maintain the pH levels in the body and to prevent the acidic state consume the celery on a regular basis.
  7. Fights cancer – Celery has luteolin, a flavonoid that delays the development of the breast cancer cells. It prevents their expansions, especially in people suffering of colorectal and pancreas cancer.
