White vinegar

Water

salad spinner or colander

Instructions:

Mix the vinegar and water in a large bowl, in a ratio 1: 5. Then, add the strawberries and let them soak for a couple of minutes. The vinegar will destroy the bacteria and mold spores, which are the greatest causers for fruits’ spoilage.

Then, dry the strawberries by using paper towels or simply let them to dry in a colander. When they will become completely dry, put them on a paper towel and place them in your fridge. Don’t worry, strawberries will not smell or taste like the white vinegar afterward.

Moreover, to extend the life of the strawberries, don’t remove their stems until you plan to eat them. In addition, to prevent mold spreading, remove any spoiled berries from the bunch. And, enjoy! These mouth watering fruits for a longer period of time!
