Cabbage Soup Recipe

Ingredients you will need:

  • 3 Carrots
  • 1 Cabbage
  • 2 Onions
  • 6-8 cups of Vegetable Cocktail
  • 1-2 Bouillon cubes
  • 1 package of Mushrooms
  • 2 green Peppers
  • 1 Celery
  • 2 cans of Tomatoes


All you have to do is cut all the ingredients into small pieces. Then, place the onion into a pot and fry it a bit, before adding the rest of the ingredients. Once done, add water over the ingredients, or if you want you can use vegetable cocktail. At last add the bouillon cubes.

As soon as the mixture starts boiling, switch the stove to medium heat and let the mixture boil for 30 more minutes, until the ingredients soften up. Feel free to add other spices or ingredients to your choice, such as hot sauce, pepper, salt, spinach or green beans.

From what the diet recommends the soup should be eaten every day, the more – the better. Other food low in calories is also allowed to be consumed. When it comes to beverages, you can drink water, tea, or other drinks without sugar or calories.

Cabbage Soup Diet Plan

Day 1

Eat as much as soup as you can, followed by fruits. Avoid eating bananas.

Day 2

Eat as much soup as you can, and add green leafy vegetables. It is also recommended that you eat a baked potato, but avoid peas, beans or corn.

Day 3

Eat as much cabbage soup, vegetables and fruits as you like.

Day 4

On the fourth day, aside from the soup, you need to eat bananas and drink skim milk

Day 5

The fifth day is the richest, as you need to consume around six tomatoes, as much cabbage soup as you can, along with 280-567 grams of beef and at last, drink more than 6 glasses of water throughout the day.

Day 6

This is where the tempo slows down again, where you have to consume as much cabbage soup as you can, followed by some green leafy vegetables and beef. Replace beef with grilled fish if you want.

Day 7

The last day consists of as much cabbage soup as you can eat, vegetables, brown rice, fruit juice, and avoiding sugary products.

Note: The diet should not be continued for more than a week, and an individual must make a 2-week pause before starting it again. This is a crash diet which hasn’t been thoroughly researched by health experts and researchers, which is why it isn’t the top diet on the list. However, the weight loss is for sure.
